Naked Dave's Story
Food industry professional and BBQ competitor, Naked Dave, is a fourth generation “meat man”, who respects the cut, and lives for the juicy taste of his next great steak.
More than a hundred years ago, Dave’s great grandpa shopped the Chicago Stockyards at 3 every morning for quality meats to sell at his neighborhood market. The family meat business grew and prospered with each generation that followed.
Disappointed with current rubs on the market, Dave wanted to create a specially balanced all-purpose seasoning blend – because good meat shouldn’t be naked!
Working with his father Tim, the duo tested different blends until they found the perfect flavor signature, “sweet and a little tangy with just the right amount of spice.”
